Stephany Hunter McClendon is an attorney in the firm’s litigation department. Although she hails from Columbus, Ohio, she graduated cum laude from Kentucky State University in 2011 with a B.A. in English and received her J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandies School of Law in 2014.
While at Brandeis, Stephany served as Vice President for the Black Law Students Association, Student Teacher for the Central High School Law Magnet, Student Attorney for the Sue Ellen Ackerson Law Clinic and legal extern for the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office.
After receiving her license to practice law in 2015, Stephany became an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney where she prosecuted felony cases. There, she served as Deputy Division Chief of General Trial Division B, Diversity and Inclusion Liaison, associate member of the American Inns of Court and board member for the University of Louisville Law’s Diversity Council. Stephany is also a member of the Kentucky Bar Association.
